One SPM system was modified to add the SPM break junction functionality to the system for molecular electronics research.
The other SPM system was integrated with the inverted optical microscope for investigating the single molecule recognitions and interactions in biosystems.
Surface Plasmon Resonance Microscopy (SPRM) system: SPRM 200 SERIES from Biosensing Instrument, features (1) Integrated optical microscopy with SPR Bright-field and SPR microscopies in one instrument. Large field of view with high resolution optics to view single or multiple cells; (2) In vitro and label-free binding activities mapping Provides SPR sensorgrams and binding activity map of individual cells as well as the binding kinetic constants (ka, kd, KD); and (3) Nanometer scaled binding response of virus, bacteria and nanoparticles Nanomotion detection study of bacteria or virus metabolic activity or binding activities of nanoparticles for drug delivery designs.
TLS (Tunable Light Source): OPTOMETRICS TLS 25 integrates the Mini-Chrom monochromator and an efficient, power stabilized broadband Tungsten Halogen light source with ultra thin (~500μm in diameter) fiber optical cable. Spectral ranges from 360 – 1000 nm.
